Intro
As I’ve progressed through the math tree, I’ve foind more and more trouble explaining the applications of new techniques to those in my life with less of a math background.
On my first dinner home each semester I would be asked how I was liking my courses and what I was learning, and then the dreaded “Ok but what would you actually do with that?”.
What would I actually do with advanced calculus? What would I actually do with linear algebra?
